Kate's sculptures are made with 300 gsm recycled watercolour paper, which is mono screen printed to ensure each piece has its own textures, patterns and colour palette. They are cut out and built by hand, embellished with hand cut feathers or paper wrapped wire feet. Each sculpture is unique.
They are printed using acrylic paints and metallic lustres and finished with a UV protective satin lacquer.
Hanging pieces either have a sturdy steel hoop with which to hang from a nail tack, or its branch is suspended on fishing line, with a small steel hook.
Prices listed here are correct for 2018. If you would like something bespoke, please note there may be an increase in price. Kate’s style of work lends itself easily to unique arrangements and embellishments.
Bespoke orders can take around 2 weeks to make, so please contact Kate with plenty of time if you need something for a particular date. She gets especially busy in the run up to Christmas. Orders are posted via Special Delivery in the UK, which is insured and tracked. Parcelforce Worldwide is used overseas.
All sculptures are wrapped in a giftbox, tied with ribbon.
