Parrots are one of Kate's favourite subjects. She thinks it is the delightful hair dos. She enjoys watching their personalities develop as she creates their feathery mane. So far, the collection includes cockatoos, budgies and cockatiels, among other varieties.

These paper sculptures are made with 300 gsm recycled watercolour paper. which has a lovely texture. They are mono screen printed: patterns and textures are drawn freehand onto the silkscreen to create a unique print for each individual sculpture.

They are varnished with a UV protective satin lacquer, which seals their edges and makes them easy to clean. All they need is a tickle from a feather duster every now and then.

They are arranged on swings and in bird cages, adorned with flowers and vines.
