September
Suddenly everything seems overgrown and wilting and in need of attention before winter arrives. There are an overwhelming number of jobs to do, but the weather is nice and the ground is still soft and warm. Sun has been a little lacking this year, so there are far too many green tomatoes to attempt to ripen. And the nasturtiums are super keen to take over any ground space that pulling up vegetables has provided.
