This handmade coal tit sculpture is made from layers and layers of paper in white, black and dark grey. His feet are steel wire, and he is varnished with a satin lacquer.
My favourite detail of coal tits is their little polka dot shoulder feathers. Aren’t they adorable? His wing feathers have a white trim, which makes him look rather fancy. If he was human, he’d be wearing a dinner jacket and bow tie.
